The Spirit of Saint James!

Should you scroll all the way to the bottom of this page, you see the same greeting each time you tap into this blog. In the Book of Saint James, my second favorite Saint James, one reads of the source of all our blessings and from where every good and perfect gift comes. But imagine being reminded of such blessings while surveying the roadside!

My buddy Zach, who designed this sight earlier this summer, was driving [around Wisconsin Rapids, I assume] when he came across this sign on the roadside. He stopped long enough to get a shot of this and then sent it my way. Pretty cool, huh? I always knew Zach had pretty good eyes to catch what others might miss -- but as usual, he follows through in very considerate ways.

So as you make your way these Christmas days, keep your eyes and ears open -- to continually recognize the gift of the Incarnation -- in any number of ways it is made manifest to you. And remember, "Every good and perfect gift is from above!"

Thanks for the reminder, Zach!

For the past week I was wondering if you had seen that picture that I sent, and now I come to see that you made a blog post out of it. Very neat!
