Andy Domagola: "Ad Multos Annos!"

In the early watches of the night, our college community mourns the loss of one of our finest, Andy Domagola. Andy took the community by storm a year and a half ago when he departed from his beloved Benet Academy of Naperville to his new home away from home, SNC. Andy was so involved in so many activities, I found it quite difficult to keep up with him. Among the things I'll miss most about Andy was his love and concern for his parents and sisters, his passion for swimming, his countless comparisons between the Benedictines and the Norbertines, and his weekly presence at the Burke Hall Mass freshman year -- propping himself up with his back resting at the foot of the altar!
+ + +
Ironically, perhaps the last words Andy heard in this life included, "Remember, Andy, that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return," as he celebrated the 9:00 PM Mass at Old Saint Joe's on Ash Wednesday night. We pray that our loss will be heaven's gain. As our college community continues to keep vigil these days, let us remember to care for, comfort, love and support one another as we also pray for the Domagola family as well as the Benet Academy community.

Loving and merciful God,

we entrust our brother, Andy, to your mercy.

You loved him greatly in this life:

now that he is freed from all its cares,

give him happiness and peace forever.

The old order has passed away:

welcome him now into paradise

where there will be no more sorrow,

no more weeping or pain,

but only peace and joy with Jesus, your Son,

for ever and ever.

Amen.

Fr. Jim, Thank you for your comforting words at the prayer service last night. "We pray that our loss will be heaven's gain." Amen. What a blessing it is to have known Andy.

We here at Benet Academy and at the monastic community of St. Procopius Abbey are in shock at the death of one of our own. Andy was involved in everything "ministry," and we are at a loss at why-why-why.

My condolences to the Norbertine college community. It would be Andy to go back and forth between the canons and the monks.

May God receive this kind, busy, involved and concerned soul into the loving arms of heaven!

Fr. T. Becket A. Franks, O.S.B.

Father Jim, what a first class tribute you wrote. I just received word of Andy's tragic death. I'm sure the Domagola family will always remember your community's caring.

Ladies appear to become far more cost-free to put on cross-gender clothes and also to act outdoors their recognized gender function.

Take into account how the media portrays women and men.
It seems guys are either the stereotypical macho man or the bumbling fool.

Men are significantly less free of charge to present their
feelings. Ladies may be qualified, clever, and athletic.

Hey men I'm new to all these dietary supplements things. Tough to determine what to purchase one person says one particular product is much better more than one more. I am a doctor and kinda scared of getting some thing that is not managed from the FDA. But as being a health club rat I've reached a dead
end with my lifting and have not been capable to boost the
weight. Anyone with any excellent advise?

I feel you miss the stage; they may be talking about college changing,
but, I agree, within a primitive level. The crucial word was "collaborative leadership"; instructors should recognize they're dealing with individuals like them, rather than some form of inferior species. Should you see closely, you may recognize they start talking about skills, but they go on to educating changes, curriculum changes, society changes. If we want schooling to? alter, we are the ones to perform it. And I'm a teacher
to be.
